Chapter Leadership

Greetings, and welcome to the online home of the Saint Louis Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

It is my distinct honor to serve as President of this remarkable chapter of more than 500 women who are united by a shared commitment to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and social action. Together, we continue a legacy of excellence that has been woven into the fabric of the St. Louis and St. Charles communities for nearly a century.

Our journey began on December 19, 1926, when our chapter was chartered as Lambda Sigma under the leadership and vision of our charter member, Madree Penn White. Today, we remain grounded in the principles established by our 22 Founders and guided by Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health, and Political Awareness and Involvement.

Our commitment to service comes to life through programs that educate, empower, inspire, and uplift. From nurturing the potential of young people through Delta Twinkles, Delta Academy, Delta GEMS, and Ariya/Rites of Passage, to addressing community needs through initiatives such as Breakfast with Santa, Dive into Books, The Red Shoe Project, and Trunks Up, our Sorors continue to turn purpose into action.

We understand that our greatest impact is measured not simply by what we do, but by the lives we touch and the communities we strengthen.
